Tiff

I was speaking to this lady today about the lady who had the octuplets. The lady had twins herself, and she had them normal (not c-section although c-section is normal but I didnt' want to put the "v" word and get censored). She said that after the first she had to re-dialated and had them 22 minutes apart. They were born at 35 weeks, which is practically a miracle but you know that.

My question is, are you going to try for a v birth? How are you feeling too?

Re: Tiff

  • Well my Dr.'s would LOVE me to have a V-birth, but the lower twin, Cambria, would have to be head down for them to attempt a v-birth. So far, including today, they have both ALWAYS been heads-UP/beech. So as of now it looks like c/s. Honestly I am FINE with that! I want whats best for the girls and if they stay breech then c/s is best!

I am feeling pretty good! Getting more and more tired. I had my 1st set of contractions last night. Poor David jumped up and was reay to rush me to the hospital, I had to explain to him that they were normal and as long as there wasnt more than 4 in an hour I am fine.  He came with me to my Dr.'s appointment this morning and I had a non-stress test, which the girls past with flying colors! My b.p. was great, and my total weight gain is 20lbs and I am 32 weeks 3 days. My Dr is VERY happy I am over 32 weeks andsays he would be ok with them coming anytime but since they and I are all doing so well he thinks there will be no issue staying in for another month of so! So looks like there is a great chance they will come end of Feb or early March and they will be "full term" for twins! Big Smile

Thanks for thinking and asking about me! I appreciate it!

How is the new house? I hope you guys love it!

  • Wow, go Tif! I am so happy to hear they are baking so well. You are a great oven. Stick out tongue
  • I agree with Kristy, you're an awesome oven. Cyber high five!!! I'm glad you're all doing so well. I have a feeling you'll make it to 35 weeks. But I've been wrong before.
  • Wow Tiff that's so awesome for the twins that you will be carrying to full term!  Go baby girls--grow so you can be super healthy when it's time to come out Smile
  • That is so awesome that all is going well with you and the twins. My friend gave twins a few months ago at 37 weeks and didn't have a c-section. I think that is great and the girls are going to be so beautiful and awesome.
  • Bake a little bit longer girls!

  • Wow 32! awesome.....I hope you let me know when you are here (at the hospital) so I can visit (if i'm working)!  :-)  but have them stay in for a few more weeks!!  :-)
  • Wow, I can't believe you're this far along already! I was still thinking you had a few more months, but I wasn't really thinking about how many weeks you were. Looks like you'll probably make it to at least 35. Are you taking bets yet? Wink
