Re: Locations for showers?

  • My bridal shower was at the Blue Grotto on Laurel Road.  We had brunch and it was delicious!  It couldn't have been more than $15-16 a person.  They have two rather large rooms too.

There's also Villaris on Sicklerville Road and I've heard they're pretty reasonable.

  • there's Brigalia's in Sicklerville. There's La Vigna in Sicklerville too, but the room is a little small, maybe for like 40 people? I had our rehearsal dinner there. I've been to the Blue Grotto for a baby shower, they have really good food!
  • Filomena's in Deptford is also a nice location.  We had our rehearsal dinner there and the room was beautiful and the food delicious and reasonably priced.

I went to a bridal shower held at La Vigna and it was very nice.  I agree with Patti it was a little small for the group we had (maybe 40 to 50 people).

  • I had my surprise baby shower at the Pine Hill Golf Club.  They did a really nice job and plus there was really beautiful views from the room.  I'm not sure of their prices since my Mom put the whole thing together.

  • You have to check out Pasta Pomodoro in Voorhees...We had my SIL's bridal shower there last year and it was only 12 per person for lunch.  The food is fantastic and its a BYOB.  The owner is super nice and is willing to work with you.

  • My bridal shower was at Mirabella cafe (in Cherry HIll) and was awesome!   Great food, private setting, and BYO.
