Sherthebear-

Regarding getting an infant car seat and a snaplite, then a BOB stroller later.

Save the $$ on the Snap N' Go (or whatever it's called) and get the conversion kit for the BOB

I think this is what we are going to do (I LOVE how the BOB folds up!!!! Unlike the travel systems)

  • Sorry for butting in, but that stroller was really cool. Thanks for sharing. I am completely ignorant when it comes to these things and have little patience for researching them.

  • Mr friend is giving me her Snap and go, so we are not spending any money on it anyways! wohoo!!

If we don't get the BOB from family at the shower, we will wait a bit before buying on our own amd use the snap and go in the beginning.

Thanks for thinking of me. If we were spending money on the snap and go, I would definitely go with your advice. Gotta love hand me downs and good friends!

It really is a great stroller. I love it because it serves different purposes. I can also use it as a jogger. They have it at Right Start at Victoria Gardens if you want to take a look at it. Right Start is a nice little store with some great strollers. It had all the ones I was researching online, so it was nice to see them in person. Once I saw the BOB in person, I was convinced it was the right one for me. The sales people were really nice at Right Start too.

  • That's cool that you are getting the Snap n' Go for free!!!!

I think I may splurge on the BOB right away, instead of getting a travel system (I hate those things!) I like that it can go off-road and handle turns very easily.

I should check that store out and see for myself what they are all like (Youtube helped a little)

  • I saw that they have it at Right Start. I'll probably head down there this weekend to take to look at it.
