Re: ***LVT and Jlynn3***

  • I did meet with Dr Brasile today - she is great!!! ?She was awesome to talk to and really made me understand everything a lot clearer.

All in all I was there for an hour maybe an hour & a half. ?We sat with her and gave our histories and what we have tried so far. ?She ordered an ultrasound and blood-work which I was able to have done right away in the office.

Turns out my first round of Clomid did not work, and it doesn't look like it is going to since I am already on CD20 and haven't ovulated (per the ultrasound). ?She also diagnosed me w/ PCOS so that is part of my ovulation problem...

Sooo... I'll be doing another round of Provera followed by a higher dose of Clomid and they will monitor me closely w/ ultrasounds and blood-work to see how I am progressing. ?Theres a lot more to it, but one step at a time...

Sorry for rambling! ?I really liked it at Cooper and am looking forward to working with them :)?

  • I did meet with Dr. Check today.  I really liked him.  He is a bit eccentric, but he really took his time to explain everything to us.

My husband and I were there for 4 hours.  First, we gave our history and told him about what we have tried so far.  Then, Dr. Check did some testing and bloodwork.  We sat in the waiting room for a while and were able to get the results of the testing right away.  He then called us back to his office and we talked about a plan for this cycle.

I go back again next Tuesday for more bloodwork and an ultrasound.   So far I am very happy with Cooper.

  • thanks for the feedback...i really appreciate it.  i hope our appt. isn't 4 hours long though (as it's set for 6pm and i go to bed at 9:30)!  i wish us all lots of luck at cooper and i hope that we all have bfps by summer!!!

  • No problem...let me know how your appointment goes.  I want to hear what you think of Dr. Check.

I think you mentioned it is next Tues. at 6pm.  I will be there for an ultrasound and injection class.
