Not yet.  I actually suggested to K that we save money by not getting a tree this year.  I told her we could put up the small fake one I  had as a child.  Oh, the look on her face - lol!  In all seriousness though, if we do go home to CA for the holidays I don't see the point in spending the money on a tree. Save the poor tree, save a few bucks, and there is no clean up.

Either way I still need to get a holiday wreath for the front door.

yes, but honestly, its not impressive. with all the expenses of weddings we attended this fall and getting the puppy, C won't let me go nuts decorating the house, lol.

Not yet.  I don't know if we will get a tree this year since the cat will prob try to climb it and also attack all the ornaments.  Maybe we will get a small one.  I need something for the doors.  I think I may need to run to target today to check out my options.

We have lights on the front of the house (the kids get so excited everytime we drive up, "CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!!!!!!")

We need to go get the wreaths.  We are still deciding on a tree. Last year we got a small potted one because of the boys. We thought they could handle a regular tree this year, but after this weekend I am not so sure.  Two 2.5 year old boys have a lot of energy and curiosity! We'll probably end up doing another small potted tree with just a few (non-breakable) ornaments. I think we'll do it next weekend.

We have winter decorations up, white lights, snowflakes in the windows and winter with a little hanukkah thrown in inside.

We haven't actually started decorating yet, but I have been shopping!

We are starting our holiday decoration store from scratch - the last 2 years we were in our tiny apartment so we just a mini fake tree and not really anything else.  Before that, we still lived in Pittsburgh and didn't buy much - what we did buy got thrown away when we relocated because so much of it was breakable and we knew our new place had limited storage.  So this is the perfect excuse for shopping, which is great because I have definitely been bitten by the holiday bug!!

This weekend we are getting our tree and a wreath for our door, so the decorating begins then!  I'll post some pictures after!

We haven't done any decorating yet but we will put up a small fake tree this weekend. I wanted a real tree but our kitten loves to try to eat everything in sight so I didn't think it would be too safe...hopefully we'll be able to keep the fake tree up without her tipping it over *fingers crossed*

we don't have anything up yet. right now the dining room where we usually set up our tree is just subflooring. we want to try to get the new floor in before the end of the year, so we're hesitant to set it up and then have to move it. we're trying to figure out where we could put it up instead, so we might rearrange some things to put it in the living room. i asked c about lights on the front of the house, but frankly we've got so much going on we just haven't had time and i'm not sure we will. i'm hoping to get them up but if we don't, oh well. i should at least get the wreath out...
