Hi everyone!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! It's been awhile since I've nested. Things have been so busy at home, work, and I've been out of town. Before Thanksgiving I went to a girlfriend's wedding in Jamaica, then spent Thanksgiving in Huntsville, and this Thursday I'm taking my sister to NYC for Christmas. So much going on, and I got sick in the middle of it, but it's been fun. So anyway, I just wanted to say hello and catch up with you all. Hopefully I can nest a lot before leaving on Thursday!
Sarah - How did your gall bladder surgery go?

Monica - congrats on getting your new camera! I got the D60 a couple of weeks ago and love it so far. It came with 2 DVD's on how to use it and SLR photography, but I haven't watched them yet.

Welcome back!
My brother is doing well. They removed part of his thyroid and it turned out not to be cancer. He was able to make it to my parents' on Thanksgiving, and he was pestering me as usual so things are back to normal. LOL I appreciate you asking.
Jamaica and New York! I'm so jealous! Things here are stable for a bit longer. It looks like we are okay through March. There was an appeal to the contract, so now we sit and wait some more. I do feel some better knowing that I'm not losing my job right around Christmas.
I am with the pp's....sooo not fair you get Jamaica and NY :P

I finished up the classwork last week. I met with my advisor and had my portfolio approved today so I am officially done! All I have to do is show up at the graduation.

These trips are the only trips I'll probably get to take for a while since we'll start saving and preparing for a bambino next year, so I'm going to enjoy them to the fullest.
thank you so much for asking!!! my surgery went ok. the pain was pretty bad for about 5 days but now I'm just waiting for an infected incision to heal (boo for infections!). and I can eat normally! sometimes people have not so fun side effects from getting it removed. I'm glad to have it out!
yay for getting ready to ttc!!! my dr gave me the ok to get pg again! we're going to try to get pg next august
