I was laid off today. So I'm home a lot working on my resume.
Re: Bad news
well I was kind of working an in between job anyway. I was going to seriously start looking after the first of the year. I would love to get into event planning, but it's not the time to be going into that industry with no experience.
I've been fine tuning my resume for hours. I'm kind of in denial

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear this. And right before the holidays to add insult to injury. Could you do a seasonal retail job to maintain the cashflow (which would probably also have flexible/different hours for interviewing).
