I thought it was a cold...
but it turns out that Allison's runny nose = cutting a tooth! I think she has a cold too and the 2 just happened to coincide.
But last night while she was sitting on my lap, she grabbed my finger and stuck it in her mouth to chew on, and I felt something kind of sharp. I rubbed my finger along her gums and lo and behold - there it was! We can see just a little of it too.
This(plus the cold) helps explain her extra snuggliness and grumpiness.

and jordyn 10+ months STILL has not one tooth. haha
Give her lots of extra snuggles, this tooth cutting business is hard work! Can't wait to see a pic of Allison's first smile with a tooth!
Reese has been grumpy for a couple of days now and I discovered last night that she's got 4 teeth coming in. She cut the first 8 without so much as a whine but these 4 are giving her some major grief.
Congrats Allison on your first toof.
