snow/cold - like it or hate it?

Q. Snow and cold - do you like it, one or the other, hate both??

 A. I'm a teacher and was hoping we'd have a snow day today, but no luck. :-(  I don't mind snow if it's in the 30's or so with sun.  I hate cold windy days like today!

I like snow when I don't have to drive in it and I like cold as long as it isn't too windy or so cold that my face goes numb before I'm even fully outside.

I don't mind the snow if it's not excessive. I don't mind driving either, it's the other people driving around me that make me stay put! We ended up having a 2 hour late start at school today. Talk about a wasted day when that happens!

I love seeing the snow. My thought is, if it's going to be flippin cold, there might as well be some pretty snow to go along with it.

I like LOOKING at snow because it's pretty.  I hate driving in it - mainly because I'm afraid of how most everyone else drives in it.

I hate the cold with a passion.

I think I might be living in the wrong state.

Love snow, hate the extreme cold.  (PSA: 20s are not extreme cold.  I'm talking like it was last year: we got snow, or we got cold... as in negative temps.)

I grew up learning to drive on back country roads, so winter driving doesn't really scare me.  I take city streets, take my time, and have fun with the fish-tailing. LOL

Light snow is fine. It looks gorgeous on trees. But this whole snow storm, where I have to scrape ice and snow off of my car, wear Uggs to keep my feet warm, and dress in layers. Ugh! I don't know how you ladies have handled it. I'm such a baby about the cold. I hate it!

give it a couple years.  LOL You'll trade your Uggs in for snow boots and be laughing at the people who struggle with a few inches of snow.

Love it...my dh wants to move south but I'm afraid I will miss the snow.

I don't really mind it. I hate the extreme (below zero) temps. It makes me feel very trapped in my house because I hate taking DD out in it.

Thanks for the reassurance. But until I reach that point, I AM that person that's getting laughed it! LOL Everyone back home is watching how we'll handle it, and everyone here keeps asking me if I am handling it. I can't wait until Spring.?

Hate it... i'll take 2-3 inches for Christmas, just so it looks pretty outside. ?Beyond that...get me out of here!!!!!!!!!!! ?Especially those super chilly temperatures. ?It stinks. ?We've considered moving to get away from the winter--doubt it'll happen. ?

Without the cold, there probably wouldn't be curling clubs all over Wisconsin, and I love curling.

I loved playing in the snow as a kid, and I'm glad DD will be able to do that.  I don't like to be cold, so I'll take snow at about 32 degrees and be perfectly happy outside.  I hate it when it's just cold with no snow.  Then everything just looks gloomy and dead.

I hate driving in snow.
