Hi Ladies!
My DH and I recently moved to Point Loma/Ocean Beach and are wondering where we can go to cut down our first Christmas Tree.
We are both from Washington State (lots of evergreens) and cringe at the thought of buying a tree from a Wal-mart parking lot or putting up a fake one.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Re: U-cut Christmas Trees
DH and I went to a place in El Cajon (http://www.cachristmas.com/FamilyChristmasTreeFarm.html) and cut our own down.....kind of strange since it was like 75 degrees out and sunny (also from WA) but still fun and definitely NOT picking one up from a parking lot! The ones you cut down are "Monterey Pines" and a little more long needled, but they also have pre-potted Douglas Fir's that are more expensive. We live in PB but went on Sunday so there was no traffic or anything. Hope this helps!

Great suggestion, thanks! We went Sunday and had a memorable time. We embraced the idea of a somewhat goofy looking tree in the spirit of adapting to our new surroundings. The Monetrey Pine looks festive now that it's decorated.
Thanks again for the suggestion!
Hahah no problem, yes, diff. than the ones at home but hey....San Diego Christmas right???
