paging Mia, Mia to aisle one please
jk..
about Yaz, do you like it? My sister was on it for awhile and really liked it. With the exception of the minipill, I've been on Lo-Estrin for about a decade... it does its job, but no real love for it.
Re: paging Mia, Mia to aisle one please
Hello!
I can't fairly isolate my Yaz experience. I say this because I was on it for only 2 months before I added a new prescription...I'll explain. I think the Yaz helped clear my acne. It's also supposed to help with your mood. After about 2 months on Yaz, I had myself my ppd meltdown and went to see my gen prac. I got a prescription for antidepressants and that helped on the mood end. Placibo or not, whatever I'm taking is working for me. LOL - tick-tick...nervous tick. J/k!
I'll have an occassional acne breakout, but they are less severe. And with the topical creams I got from the dermo, they don't seem to last long. I pick too and I think that's my biggest problem...if I'd just leave my skin alone, maybe I won't get half my breakouts.
PPD - that's another thing. I hope you're ok on your end, not implying that you have ppd. Hang in there and I'm here if you need to vent.
XOXOXO

For some reason, I spotted with Yaz. It was the only pill I have ever been on and other than that, it was OK.
hm.. I'll have to look into maybe switching the pill or just going back to the derm. I can't help but pick though....
also, doing ok with the ppd thing. I don't think I would be diagnosed with it if I went to the dr., but yikes! There is no adequate preparation for how overwhelming motherhood is. I'm trying to find a little time to decompress each day, though. Ice cream helps...
overwhelming is right...there's just no way to measure it. like I said, and half joking, placibo or not, whatever I'm taking is working for me. I dont' know meds by names and strengths, that's what I count on my doc to do for me. he knows me, before wedding, after, before kids and after...so when he asked "what's up Mia?", he knew he'd get a good story. LOL!
and YES, ice cream helps...a whole lot!!! xoxoxo
