Found splinters in a diaper

I was just about to put a clean diaper on one of my boys, when I noticed something dark in the diaper. Under the first layer of fabric, was 3 splinters, one was about 1/2 inch long and was sharp too. So glad I noticed it before I put it on them. I'm sure it was just a random event, but I've been checking all their diapers now. It was the target brand diaper.

Re: Found splinters in a diaper

  • wow thats just crazy!!

i say you call Target and complain. What if it would have been one of those moments where you are rushing to put it on and failed to see it.

i say look on the side of the box or bag and call the 1800 number.  or shoot them an e mail.

  • Scary!  I like Lorena's idea...omg!  I'd just want to call and make sure nobody else' bumbum get owies!
  • Oh wow! That is scary. Ditto Deez. call or email them, they need to know about this, you may not be the only one.
  • You should absolutely call the number on the package and let them know. It could've been a fluke thing or it could be a huge contamination that needs action taken. I had something similar happen once with Pampers and they sent me a huge package of coupons for free diapers.
  • I called, they said this was the first incident and want me to send them the diaper, and they said they would send me a coupon for a free box. Hopefully it was just a 1 off, cos that would be awful if one of those ended up in a babies bum.
  • I am glad that you called.  Hopefully it was just that one.
  • yikes, scary

although I thought one of the boys had eaten wood, so I guess it's better than what I'd thought ? Smile
