to downtown, (from LAX area).

Not really sure how I feel about it.

Have any of you ladies worked downtown? I am just happy we're not going to be on the 53rd floor.

DH works downtown.  I think he's ok with it.  Use to take the trains/subways/buses into work.  Traffic is hard.  Parking is interesting, so I hope your employer is setting that up for y'all.

I'm sorry.  I live in the LAX area and have to go to downtown occasionally for work.  The traffic sucks, as does the parking.  Hopefully you will have parking in your building or nearby and it is employer paid.  There are a lot of places to eat within walking distance of most buildings though.

They bought another company, the lease is up and they want the prestige of a nicer address. Blah.

I currently work in El Segundo... DH and I commute from the other side of Downtown LA out here; with carpool it takes about 40-50 minutes depending on the severity of traffic.

We (DH and I) both work at Raytheon...how about you?

My husband used to work right over there off Imperial. We live off Grand and I work off Century and Airport

Cool! DH works at one of the buildings off Imperial but I'm in the facility off of El Segundo.
