WJOX...

Apparently Al del Greco (former Auburn University kicker) announced this morning on his radio show that Tuberville and all his assistants will not be returning next season.  Dan Patrick (former ESPN guy) announced the same thing on his radio show.

Re: WJOX...

  • WOW,I was wondering when that announcement was going to be made.  I thought for sure it would be a little later. I wonder when Tubberville will verify this????
  • Whichever way this goes....I agree with this

Tubbs has been good to and for Auburn.  However this turns out, he's put up with a lot of crap from the powers that be at AU, and I wouldn't blame him for walking away.

  • I personally hope he stays...and I agree with the article...he deserves to know not be hung out on a limb.  The longer they drag this out it seems (although I don't know for sure) that it might hurt recruiting.  As an Auburn fan I want them to be able to move forward and look at 2009 now and until we know if Tubberville will be there or not it's on slow motion.
  • i agree with that too. before class started this morning my professor polled the class on whether we wanted tubby to stay or go and the whole class raised their hands for him to stay..everybody agreed one bad season is not enough to fire him over.
