Since nobody's started it yet...

The question of the day is: How often do you weigh yourself? I guess WW people do it once a week, yes? I'm going to try to remember to do it once a week also, because more than that and it gets obsessive.

B: Oatmeal, grapes

S1:  Gr pepper w/ hummus

L: Leftover salmon (hee hee) from last night

S2: Apple, cheese stick

D: dunno but I have to grab something quick as I'm meeting up with a friend tonight.

Exercise: going to my body pump class after work!

  • I weigh once a week at meetings.  (We don't even own a scale. I never have.)

    B: my awesome breakfast smoothie. (1 c. skim milk, 2/3 c. lowfat plain yogurt, 2/3 c. frozen strawberries, 1 c. frozen peaches, 1 tbsp. honey)

    S1: 1/3 c. granola

    L: Amy's cheese enchilada meal, 2 clementines

    S2: yogurt

    D: grilled chicken with roasted red pepper/olive/raisin salsa

    Ex: going swimming tonight, will shoot for 18 laps

    I'm really excited. The H forgot to bring his lunch bag home from work yesterday, so he was going to just get Burger King for lunch. Then he looked online and found out that a cheeseburger and fries was going to be 15 points, and he decided to take our extra lunch bag, which he hates because it's too big.  And HE's the one who suggested we pack a cooler of sandwiches and healthy snacks for our Christmas Day 14-hour road trip! This will be so much easier now that he seems to be really on board.

  • I weigh daily or close to it. Less than that (like weekly) and I dont stay "honest" I dont worry about minor variations though. I weight in first thing in hte morning (after peeing, before eating) so really I dont have a ton of variation unless im gaining or losing though.

  • I weigh myself usually once/day (always in the morning).

    #1: chicken and rice cakes (yes, strange breakfast, I know).

    #2: chicken and veggies

    #3: chicken and veggies

    #4: steak and rice or potato (not sure on my carb yet)

    #5: protein shake and cashews

  • I use a real scale weekly, but I get my weight every time I use the Wii Fit.

    I haven't been excersicing much this week b/c I feel terrible (sore throat, congestion), but I feel worse b/c I'm not working out (stiff and my jacked knee hurts more).

    On a side note, I had a dream with Pgh in it. She was talking about how she gets all her news from Top Chef.

  • Same as PGH -- I generally check in daily, but don't fret about .2 or .4 variance.  I *do* get excited for .2 or .4 losses, though ;-)

    b: oatmeal / flaxmeal / raisins; skim milk

    l: taco soup, apple

    d: ???  I have some chicken tenders thawing.  I want to make Moroccan Chicken and Lentils, but I have a couple errands to run, so I'm not sure I'll have time.

    s: apple, skim latte

    workout:  swimming!

  • oh and I always have eggs for bfast, fruit (whatever is in season - clems and oranges now) and veggies and hummus for lunch, and dinner changes.

     Dinner tonight is whole wheat spaghetti and meat sauce (jarred, DH is making it actually since I have alot of cooking to do for the weekend) and salad

  • I haven't weighed myself in quite the while, at least 2 months. I need to get on the WiiFit again. I'm thinking of declutterting my bathroom scale when we move and just keeping the WiiFit. I'm not sure if requiring exercise to weigh myself is a good idea or a bad one.

    B - oatmeal again

    S - I've been playing with this clementine a coworker plopped on my desk for a day and a half. Time to eat it. 

    L - I did end up at Round Table yesterday, so the whole wheat spaghetti is waiting for me. 

    D - I have pork steaks thawing, I'm going to roast them with potatoes and carrots and a salad. Lots of leftovers. 

    Exercise - Mr.P wasn't done with homework last night until nearly 10 and our living room looks like a bomb went off between Christmas decorations in various states of doneness, a few boxes packed, and laundry drying. I could probably Wii hoola hoop and that's about it. Excuses, excuses, I'll find a way to do something tonight.

    Breakfast - scrambled eggs

    Lunch - peanut butter & jelly

    Dinner - tacos

    I haven't had any snacks yet but I am sure that will change.

  • I'm doing ok today... better food choices than yesterday.

    snack-small slice pepperoni pizza (I didn't say I made good choices... just better ones than yesterday.

    l-chicken wrap, french fries

    d-(I have no idea how to spell this...) fake etouffee  (we use turkey sausage and no seafood, and we never put it over a starch.  just the stew.  and we add beans, so yeah.  It's not really etouffee.  there's no name for it.)

     dessert-maybe a smoothie when I come home from the gym

     Exercise- tonight I'm going to a Zumba class.
