Looking for childcare recommendations
Hi-
DH and I just found out we're expecting our first child. We have some time before he/she arrives, but we're starting early in regards to looking for childcare so we can budget.
Any recommendations for the city area? We live in the Hyde Park area and work downtown.

If you want infant care in the downtown area, I would call and reserve your spot NOW! ?Most places have waitlists and some are so long- I think people get on them when they are TTC.
I would join NPN (npnparents.org) and post there- you get great recommendations for all sorts of baby/child-related stuff in the city. ?There is a small fee though. ?I found out about lots of daycares (center and in-home) and nannies from their message boards.?
