Hi ladies -
My H will be going away for about 3 months and we're parting our ways in KC (a friend is graduating and we're going to the ceremony). So we're driving over a day early. Can you please recommend any romantic hotel ideas? I'd like to stay downtown or out by Country Club Plaza if possible. My budget would be around $200 give or take. I saw a "romance" package for the Raphael Hotel, but it was over $300 and that's too much.
I'd welcome any other suggestions as well. Thanks!

Re: need hotel ideas
Years ago, I pricelined a 4 or 5 star hotel in the Plaza for $75/night. Turns out it was the Marriott and it was really very nice.
As far as that goes, you'll have the best luck getting a good deal if you go through one of those sites, but I'm not much help with specific places.
I do know that the Holiday Inn Express in that area is also fairly nice.
You could check into the Intercontinental.
The Hyatt Regency at Crown Center has nice suites. ?I would recommend that especially if you want to be around restaurants and entertainment. ?They are in your price range too. ?HTH!
