Heather...

First of all, congrats on the safe arrival of Molly!!! I'm so happy for you. She's gorgeous.

Second, I'm about 98% sure I met your DH at the meat counter at Hannafords day before Thanksgiving! We were both in line waiting for the meat guy and were chatting about my Moby (I had Aubrey in it as it's the only way I can get through a whole grocery trip...she's not fond of her carseat when she's a) awake and b) not in the car). And he introduced Alex (who is as cute as a button in person, natch)...and mentioned that he had a five-day old named Molly at home. All of a sudden it was like a bell went off in my head and I thought, oh wow! You're MrsDarah's DH!! But I didn't say anything in case I was totally off and/or he thought I was nuts. :) But the more I thought about it, it was just too much of a coincidence not to be him...so, small world, eh...and I hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving!!

Re: Heather...

  • That is totally hysterical, b/c DH came home and was saying how he met a young woman with a daughter named Aubrey when he picked up the turkey, and I was like, I love that name! I didn't make the connection, though!

As far as him thinking you were nuts...he's a computer guy and we have several message boards that we post on, so he actually would have thought it was awesome. :)  So don't worry about that. And thanks for the compliment on Alex. I heard he was a pretty good boy at the store that morning. Nothing like those cookies at the bakery for bribery!

We had a great thanksgiving- I hope you enjoyed yours as well!
