Oh no...

One of my best friends called last night and told me that her house had been robbed.  They have a three year old and they even took all of the toys she had bought him for Christmas.   What kind of person would steal Christmas presents? There have been a few break ins in her her area.  I guess with it being the holidays people let their guard down a little. Everyone be careful and if you wouldn't mind say a little prayer for their family.  She is petrified now and wants to move (I would probably feel the same way) and just doesn't feel safe in her own home anymore.  I feel so awful for her!

Re: Oh no...

  • That is horrible!! What a terrible person!!
  • ugh i hate that. something like this happened to good friends of ours last thanksgiving and they ended up moving because they felt the same way.

  • oh no! how scary! where does she live? (obviously not specifics lol)

  • that is so sad. i actually thought about the possibility of something terrible like that happening when i put the christmas tree up this year, but i really like having it in the front window. hopefully she won't leave though and they will catch the criminals very soon! i don't understand why people can be so selfish and cruel and it makes for such bad memories. i still remember when i was 4 and my dad caught two teenage boys breaking the christmas lights on our house. at least he caught them though and he even made them come in and apologize to my sister and me!

  • Lauren- she lives in Mobile.

Thanks girls!!!  I hope they can do something to catch them but I don't think they will be able to.
