my crappy day

I am having a morning where I should have stayed in bed. I was already in a crappy mood this morning when I took my 1st period class to the computer lab.  When I got there I found out that when they updated the lab they got rid of the computer program that I was going to use and that it no longer works on the os10. whatever since it doesn't have classic anymore.  So there I was in the lab with 25 13year olds with nothing to do.  I still have no plan and the kids will be back with me in 30 min.  I am up a creek! argh.  Anyone have a quick lesson on plate tectonics that requires no prep?  Thanks for letting me vent. Now I just need to figure out what to do.  I am considering curling in a ball and crying.

Re: my crappy day

  • i'm sorry you're having a crappy morning. Sad hugs!

sadly i know next to nothing about plate tectonics so i am of no help to you this morning...

  • i'm so sorry hon :(

you are a brilliant teacher and I know you'll figure something out.

before you know it, you'll be back in bed with your sweetie. until then, ((HUGS))

  • I've got nothing except my own experiences with earthquakes (that's plate tectonics right?).  Sorry, hope thing get better from here! :-)

  • Oh, that sucks. I am really sorry. I am sure you came up with something great to do with them. The only plate tectonics lesson I remember is the visual of two crackers floating towards one another in a bowl of soup. Sounds silly, but all these years later I remeber what it looked like. :-)
  • Oh no! I hope today's a better day!
