Something to do with MIL?

My husband's an only child with no cousins.  So I thought I'd take his mom & her sister (who has no kids) out to do something for the holidays, just us girls.

It needs to be this coming Saturday afternoon . . .

I checked into tea at the Bedford Village Inn - they don't have any room.

I checked with the Shaker Village for their holiday cookie class, but the voicemail of the woman who is supposed to teach the class, says that she is no longer with the Shaker Village.

I looked at a holiday card making class at Stamping Memories, but they aren't offering any . . .

Help--I'm running out of ideas of something to do for a few hours!

  • I have heard great thing about this place:

However, it is a haul, and I don't know where you live. Mason is quite a drive :)

  • If you are looking for something "crafty" to do, I love You're Fired in Bedford. It can get a bit pricey with the studio fee and pottery pieces, but it is a lot of fun. The pieces also make great gifts.

  • Oooh, I have to agree that Pickety Place is fantastic! If it's at all do-able, I highly recommend it! Also, I haven't been to You're Fired, but we have another place like that where I am and it is also a lot of fun. If you don't like either of those or can't do them, why not do a simple craft at one of your houses? Just get instructions online and buy the materials ahead of time. It doesn't have to be anything complicated, just something for you three to bond over.

  • There's the tea place in Nashua we had a GTG at a few years ago...the name is escaping me.

Really nice thing you're doing btw =)

  • I don't know where you are in NH but the http://stonehedgeinnandspa-px.trvlclick.com/tea.php  is most definitely worth the drive.  It is just a few minutes past Nashua.  I have not done the tea, but have been for a few spa days and it is great!  I had a lot of fun @ You're Fired.  You are allowed to bring your own munchies and drinks. If you do the one in Bedford, Panera is just across the street.  You could make a day out of it.  http://annastreet.com in Portstmouth is also a great time.  Tons of great handbags etc but I don't know if you need to have a reservation..HTH.  Have fun and let us know what you did.
