Parking Arrangement..Very Weird

So I have started my job and everything seems to be going really well. The parking arrangement is just ridiculous, I thought I share.

When I get in at 8 I have to park across the street. By 10 I have to move my car to the front of the building. Across the street parking has a  2 hr minimum and in front of the building has no parking between am-9am and 4pm-am (something like this). So then at 3:45ish I have to go back outside and move my car to the other side of the street till end of the day. The best part is that the job is right off of La Cienega, so I have to dodge traffic (there is a cross walk, but in LA that is a right of way to hit a pedestrian) twice a day!

And to think they are paying me to act like frogger during the day...lol

Re: Parking Arrangement..Very Weird

  • Oh yeah...La Cienega has a 3rd lane during the busy hours...which is why the funky times and all the car moving...what a total PITA
  • what a PITA! How can the expect you to be productive if you're always having to move your car?
  • I love Frogger - that made me laugh. That is crazy - why won't your company just pay for a spot for you?
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml

There are no spots. The owner of the company does this same procedure everyday too. The best part is you get to watch all of the companies down the block doing the exact same thing. You have to love L.A.!

  • Have I been living under a rock? Did you get a new job? And so quickly after being laid-off. That's awesome! Congrats!

Wow you have been under a rock (lifting up rock and waving "HI")

Yes, I found another job! Very relieved.
