today on december 8th, about an hour ago, a military jet crashed into a residental street by the local University City high school..
I was not home during the crash, so I did not witness the sound of the crash, yet I am still shaking (I live on the canyon and a street above from the crash site...scary).
Two houses were hit, one destroyed, one partially destroyed and the pilot ejected before the crash. As far as I no, no one was home so there are no fatalities...
however, it is the christmas seasson and I would like to round up a joint prayer to the families affected (victims and the pilot and his family).
I do not believe it was anyone's fault, as far as I know it was a mechanical problem..
so in all, please pray that everyone is ok.
Well I am off to battle the traffic..I have to travel south to my college and since the crash point is in between I am not even sure how I will make it..first I need to stop shaking. (How bad is that? I am not affected but I can't stop shaking....)
So overall...please pray for everyone. I hope theirs a way we can help the victims out during their Christmas season
Re: Please Pray... (University City, San Diego, Ca)
your right, it never should have happend. I am still unsure what happend to the jet though.
I was supposed to be home at noon, and I live 6 blocks away so I would have heard it..I freak out in a small earthquake so I am glad I missed the explosion but yet I am still shaken cause the only thing that seperates the houses from my neighborhood is a hill and my furbabie (my cat) was home alone.. (If you all have pets then you understand why I am scared because the animal got scared)
I TOTALLY understand as my dog would have been SO scared....ugh. So terrible.
On the news they are saying he had engine trouble over the water and should ahve turned around instead of continuing on over residential areas....really really horrible.
over the water ? Didn't the plane come from an aircraft carrier? I don't want to blame the pilots but if they knew there was a problem...
I hope everything gets better...I wish we could collect money and some items for the residences that lost their home..It's going to be hard to get a new home especially during the xmas seasson
