Need a place to go out while I am in town this weekend
Hi Ladies,
My husband and I are visiting Greenville this weekend and are looking for recommendations for a place to hang out Saturday night. We are in our late 30's and love all music. I just don't want a place that has nobody over the age of 25 there. It can be a bar with live music or a club. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

there are a LOT of things to do in Greenville during the weekend (and the rest of the week too). My main recommendation would be to venture downtown and just wander around. There are a number of restaurants/bars that have live music or are just a great place to relax and enjoy the city. Some of DH and my favorites are Trio, Liberty Tavern, Corner Pocket, and the Gathering Spot. (We don't tend to go anywhere that caters to the "younger" crowd either-all those places are very open/not age specific) There is a website that has info on these and other places/activities happening in Greenville. it's http://greenville.metromix.com/

Thanks so much! That was very helpful. I just finished packing an DH an I are on a plane at 8am arriving at noon. I will post next week an let you know how we made out. We will be driving around the area and hoping to find a place that we would like to relocate to next summer. Thanks again.
