Free Kittens!

Hello, I'm new to this board as we only just got married in October, but I am hoping for some help!  We had 3 kittens dropped off in front of our house.  My heart is too big and I wound up taking them in because they were eating garbage.  There was the 3, but one disappeared, so I have 2 little angels that need a good home.  They are both females, litter trained and very lovable.  I believe they are 9-10 weeks old.  You can contact me at josefina628@yahoo.com.  I am also willing to drive wherever their new home may be.  Thank you and tell anyone you know who might like a new family member just in time for the holidays. Here's a slideshow of the kittens.

Thank you again!

Re: Free Kittens!

  • I highly recommend not giving them away for free-especially via the Internet. Charge a small fee. It is not for a profit, but for their protection.  You don't know who might come on here and want to do dreadful things to a little cat.  You are less likely to find crazy people if you charge money.

Also, I can tell you that giving a free kitten to someone over the holidays is a great way to encourage an impulsive addition which results in overcrowded shelters in February.

    Good luck.

  • foster them as long as you can. if you can post signs at work with info (but don't say free!) and also contact rescues. While you may not hear back from rescues, hang in there. I ended up fostering 2 litters and they eventually did get adopted out by a rescue. The more time you spend with them, the better their chances of being adopted when they do get into a rescue.
