  • Lucky!  I'm at work thinking about how I should really finish making a study guide for my last final exam and finish the website I have to create for Friday.

My random thought is that I really like Christmas lights!

  • I had to buy new lights this year. SO MAD. Why don't those stupid things last?!

Quick poll: white Christmas lights or colored?

  • This year Robert and I have a mix of white lights and blue LED lights.
  • I hate being cold!

I wish I could get a snow day!  BOO!  I had to drive on the roads this morning and they were rather crappy this morning!

We have a Pre-lighted Tree and I love it!  We have it so it flashes back and forth between white and colored.  Eric HATES all white!  But it would go better with the snowman theme if he did like it!

  • Normally I prefer all white.  However, this year I was low on white and found a bunch of red, so I mixed them.  Since Ben loves looking at lights, I thought when we put the tree up, he would go crazy for them.  However so far, he seems oblivious. :(

    Imzadi07:  What is LED?

  • chach916:  Red and white sounds really nice...like candy canes or peppermints.  LED stands for "light emitting diode" (whatever that means).  Practically, they're the lights that have a really intense color, are much more energy efficient, have a longer bulb life, and remain cool to the touch even when plugged in for a long time.  Sadly, they also cost more, which is why we mixed them with cheaper normal white lights.  Smile
  • Well, I feel really yucky today and I'm super tired of the cold.

    We have colored lights.

  • Ugh I have the worst cold ever. I'm wondering why I've had 3 colds since I started my maternity leave. I shouldn't be sick more at home then when I am working in a hospital.
  • Colored lights on the tree, white lights outside.
