anyone have any BFing advice for teethers?
My nipples are soooooo sore from Austin's latch changing from getting new teeth in....I've tried repositioning him and everything....I'm supposing this is just something I need to wait out - but now I dread him latching to feed! Any advice would be great, if you've had trouble with this...TIA!
Re: anyone have any BFing advice for teethers?
Have you tried giving him a teething ring before nursing? ?I don't know if I suggested that to you already?? ?I did it with Ben and it helped him to differentiate and "remember" or relearn how to latch on to my breast correctly. ?GL- it sucks, but we got through it pretty quickly.
Maybe some Lansinoh cream in the interim? ?That helped me with the soreness.?
Yikes that doesn't sound to pleasant. Could you try pumping and giving him a bottle instead...or is he still not taking a bottle? Sorry I don't have any experience with this yet as Kaelyn has yet to get any teeth.
It is extremely painful I asked on the baby boards and they pretty much said you have to wait it out...same for kellymom.com *sigh* My nipples are on fire! No, he still won't take a bottle - he just plays with it, which I suppose is something....it's better than him screaming at it like he used to...
