I have no suggestions and I don't know what's near you, but going to the stores isn't always a bad experience. We have the Hustler store here in Cinci ('twas such a scandal!) and going in there has always been a pleasure.

Don't ask me how I know this but there's some movie called Pirates which is supposedly the highest-budget adult movie ever produced and supposedly it's fairly high quality. I haven't seen it (although I'm kind of intrigued by it), just sharing what I've heard.
I think the Hustler store up North does much better than the downtown one... but the one on 75 skeeves me out. Like much of the Dayton area.

Well, are you looking for porn for just him to enjoy or are you looking for porn for you both to enjoy together? Those are very good questions - especially the "money shot" part, and I do not know. Nor do I know how they are decided (Porn Academy vs Fans vs ?). But it did win so at least it was recognized as being good by some standard.
I have to ditto this. I've been in one store, in college, when I went to buy some "gag" gifts (no pun intended) for sorority sisters when I was graduating. I expected a dark, scary place full of men in trenchcoats, but found a neat, well-lit store full of women (!!) and a very helpful store clerk who discussed porn as though it was statistics or macroeconomics.
