well damn hubs
i just checked my email and i had something from adam. i open it and he's like "apparently i drove through a tornado on the way to work." wth?
he said there was a tornado sighted in the area (works in alex city) and when he got to work there was nobody in the office, which is normal, but 2 mins later a co-worker came and said everyone was in their safe area. *shakes head*
he agreed when i told him he needs to keep an eye on the weather

I almost did the same thing this morning. The news kept talking about an area of rotation about two blocks from where I work. Of course I didn't have the news on so I get to work and can't use the elevator and all of the doors that are open are shut. I finally get to my unit and everyone is crowded around a tv watching the weather. Turns out I drove right through it. I guess I need to join your hubs in watching the weather!!!

Lordy, we did the same thing. It's all over our areas. Heard it on the radio. Not sure if it's good I'm riding w/the person in our carpool whom I think is the worst driver!?!?!? ha.
jaime - glad you're ok too!
katie - if anything happens make sure the best driver is in the passenger seat and someone strong is behind the driver. that way if necessary, the person behind can knock the driver out and pull them into the back while passenger takes over the wheel..lol

Well I'm screwed then b/c the driver is the only one who drives stick and it's a stick car. The passenger is a larger man and has to sit up front (this is a 2 door car) so I get stuck in the back. I'll be the dead one and someone better come find me on 280 and pull my arse out!!!

yeah, I HATE riding in her car b/c she is NOT the best shift driver. I think I could do better and I've never attempted!!! She jerks the car and it seems like I always have to pop a rolaids on the way here and back. ugh. She knows this though!!! Sitting in the back of a 2 door doesn't help either. I try to just take a nap.
Weather is still awful.
