Hey Nesties
how are y'all? I live in atlanta ga as of now but Dh wants to move to tucson. We have found a house in the villa montana estates off of I-10 and wilmot What is the area over there like? The school our kids will end up going to is mesquite elementary, do any of your kids go there? What is the school like? Thanks for all your awnsers

It's a growing area for homes and right on I-10 so you will be able to accross town fast. Although once you move here you'll find that the freeway is only good for getting you from the southeast side to the northwest side in a hurry... everywhere else you have to take surface streets.
The one negative thing I can think of is close to the prison and maybe not the prettiest part of Tucson. But saying that I have a number of friends who live in the area and like it very much.
I don't know too much about Mesquite except that it is in the Rita Ranch neighborhood and in the Vail school district. I generally hear very good things about the Vail school district.
I wouldn't recommend that area myself. I'm not sure about Villa Montana specifically, but the developments off of 1-10 at Wilmot seem really close to the interstate and in addition to the nearby prison, the dump is also in that area. The Vail school district is good though.
