What are some of the books on your BAM wishlist if you don't mind me asking. I'm trying to get more into reading, especially since Twilight has ruled my world!!!
Re: Crystal
i've put the outlander series on there as well as HP and some Nicholas Sparks books that i've never gotten around to reading (the guardian, the wedding..)
i've also got:
Water For Elephants
2666 trilogy
Sookie Stackhouse boxed set (i'm on book 2 and so far so good)
This Lullaby - Sarah Dessen (rec'd by young_love)
Three Sisters trilogy (nora roberts)
Time Traveler's Wife
The Almost Moon
The Bolelyn Inheritance
I've bought quite a few but i haven't had a chance to read them yet like Don Quixote, The Host, The Lucky One, The Other Boleyn Girl and a few others.
i'm still in search of more books i might be interested in because i'm going to participate in the 50 books in 2009 challenge..so if you happen to find anything interesting let me know!

Awesome, thanks so much for the list. I've got the Outlander series on my list and the Sookine Stackhouse books too. I really got into the True Blood series on HBO so I'm really looking forward to reading them.
I've noticed the siggy's on the other board about the "50 in 2009" and I think that's a great idea. I need to set mine up to like 25 in 2009, LOL.
no problem! I read dead until dark before watching True Blood but i only got to about the 6th episode before i didn't get the episodes anymore :-(
There's also that other challenge they're doing..the points one from jan-march. keeping up with points is too much effort for me..lol. Hubs was like "that's a book a week..guess i'll see you in 2010" lol. *shakes head*

Butting in... if you like to read, you can check out www.paperbackswap.com - it's a book sharing website. Probably not great for brand new books but you could probably get some of those books that have been around but you have not had a chance to read them yet there.
I'm not one for keeping a lot of books on my shelf at home so I don't mind passing them along to others who want them.
Sarah that's a great idea, I hadn't even thought about that yet. Running to check it out righ now. Thanks
that's the reason i don't do PBS..i like to keep the books i read if i like them.
i just signed up for goodreads..you might want to check that out too..it keeps track of the books you've read/reading/want to read and has a lot of reviews

Hey Crystal I am butting in here but I have a book to recommend to you that you could use towards your 50 in 2009....
The Good German by Joseph Kanon
Also since you liked the Harry Potter series you might want to try Artemis Fowl. It's pretty decent.
Okay butting out now
thanks Candi!
