Just ate at the BEST restaurant!
It's called Larkin's in Eagle Rock. Is a refurbished house on Colorado Ave. Serves Southern home cooking. Amazing! The fried chicken was fabulous, as was the catfish and short ribs. We also had the salmon cakes for appetizers (there were several of us!), mac and cheese on the side and for dessert---banana pudding, blackberry/blueberry cobbler and some sweet potato pie.
If you are in the area (or even if you are not)--you should defintely check it out!
