I confess... I love my mini-van!

Yup!  I said it!  I love my van.  It's sooo NOT cool, but I don't care!

After a super long drive in traffic to Riverside (ILs) / Corona, Nat had soaked thru her diaper and her jeans.  Poor thing.  Luckily I had configured the inside to where my second row was open-space, so I changed her right in the van withOUT having to open any doors to let in the freakin' fridged air in to chill her li'l bumbum.

Ai!  Good thing too I had a change of clothes (& even backup PJs for both girls) ready!

~sigh~  hhmmm... yup, a van...who knew?

  • minivans are rad. I would not be opposed to owning one but for the fact that I can't parallel park a compact car without denting it, heaven knows what bad shape I'll be in driving a big car!

    I feel the same way!

  • I never understood why people bought mini vans when you can get suv's with an extra row of seats, but now that I have kids I get how much easier it would be to have a mini van. I told dh, if we ever have another baby, I am for sure swapping my suv for a mini-van!
  • We're in a position to buy a new car, DH's Jeep Grand Cherokee has had a new engine put in and now needs a new transmission and a heater core...we decided we're through dumping money into it.

So, we are looking at getting either the Honda Odyessey or the Toyota Sienna...both nice looking cars.  We both chuckle though at the fact that we are going to be minivan owners!  But, I have enough friends with them and see the convenience factor of them and can't pass it up...especially if we plan to have another some day and they will have friends and soccer practice, etc....

  • I luuuuuurve minivans!  DH on the other hand, isn't crazy about the way they look.
