I am SUCH a nosy neighbor!
Dh's cousin came in this weekend to replace our fences, so this morning down comes the side fence... and I can see into the neighbors' yard: what a sh*thole! Now I know why the kids always play out front! There is a car, a camper shell, a folded up mattress, a shed, a workbench, weeds (of course) various sundry items that could probably give a person tetanus if stepped on, and a broken porno vhs tape that Dh's cousin tripped over when we had to get on their side to shove a fence post down.
I'll bet, though, that under that car is a dead kitten (these are the neighbors that simply refused to look in their yard when it sounded like a kitten was meowing helplessly, and scared, for almost 4 days.. then the meowing stopped.)
The neighbors behind us have an equal -but less interesting- amount of garbage in their yard. Who knew people keep such junky yards?

oh ew. Dh's cousin reported that the car in our neighbor's backyard is filled to the gills with boxes of porn.
No wonder the kids play in the front yard. The backyard is a literal cesspool of filth!
