why is it???

that the the smallest things, like a camera bag for an SLR camera costs as much as a lens or external flash??

Seriously wtf!

Re: why is it???

  • your bag cost a lot? did you get the kind that holds all the lenses and stuff? we just got a basic bag and it was $40, but then we're not too hi-tech and only have the one lens.
  • Lisa, I just got a bag for my dslr from Best buy, (an early b-day present from dh) and I think it cost about $59.  It  holds my camera, extra lens, and still has room for another lens.  It's a Swiss army bag and looks very durable and sturdy.  HTH
  • the thing is when I'm on shoots, I don't want to carry around a bag with the handle. I need something sturdy and something I can attach on my person so I don't risk breaking anything. I found a bag I liked but it was $299.99. I need something to hold 3 lens and an external flash. Maybe even a tripod? One of the lens is telephoto so it doesn't fit easily in all the bags.

I did find one....only $75.00, I think I'm going to order it pronto:)

  • Just be glad it's not an addiction. I have roller-bag to hold store all my equipment in. But when I'm out on a shoot or traveling I use a Shootsac. You can get different covers to go with your Shootsac. They range anywhere from $39-$59 sometimes. I have about 10 covers so far.
