Day5 - Still no power - kill me now........
I'm not quite sure what happened to all these supposed work crews - but there seem to be none working in the town of Brookline. I just can't deal anymore. My patience has worn thin. I'm sick of every restaurant w/in driving distance of our house. And seriously - its not bad enough to have to wait 1.5 hours for some dinner (a salad no less) - but made that much worse having to be stuck next to a table where their kid was so sick that he should have been in a hospital. Grrrr.
Sorry - had to vent. But continue to hope everyone in the dark is holding out okay.
: )
Re: Day5 - Still no power - kill me now........
We still have no power either....We are lucky enough to have a generator and heat at my MIL's. I am right there with you on the frustration level. I feel like we are the ONLY one's w/out power......
Oh, we're in Barrington BTW...MIL is too.....
We just got ours back last night in Nashua. Our basement flooded and knocked out our hot water heater so we don't have that back. DH is cleaning up the mess today and my parents are staying with us as they are still without. We actually enjoyed Friday night as it was still "fun" to sit by the fire with some candles and wine but Sat. night was way too cold. We slept in sleeping bags in front of the fireplace cuddled up with the baby (who we dressed with 3 sets of PJs and a sleep sack). I think we were one of the only ones in our neighborhood who were stupid enough to stay that night. . . we kept thinking I'm sure it will come on any minute now.
I did hear there were a lot of crews working in Hollis/Brookline today. Good luck!
