I was just going to ask about the lemon bars too. Had those last night with a tall glass of milk. The baby liked them. He was moving nonstop 10 minutes after I ate them. Although I don't know if it's true or not that what you eat, the baby can taste it oo.

It was us.. My DH's family is known for this recipe.

Sorry ladies, but his mom would kill us if we gave it out. It is the only thing that DH and I bake in the house.

I know we are not allowed to go to any function without this cake. My friends demand it from my DH. I can tell you it involves lots of fresh lemons.

 Some people like to keep recipes in the family that they pass down through the generations. That is this case, MIL is very proud of this cake and very proud that her son has perfected it. The women loves to bake and gives out mostly all of her recipes, but this one. She makes some killer cogniac brownies!

Sorry all, but I honestly think that everyone should try it (even if they can't have the recipe). We know a lot of people that hate lemon cake and will devour a whole cake that DH makes. Just wanted to share that feeling

snow_goddess... I gave them to everyone. They were two different style bags a red bag and I think green, but they say from the Flukers on them.

Don't worry about it, it probably just got misplaced and left at Olive Garden. I'm not a big lemon person anyway but I wanted to see what everyone was raving about!

Eva- The lemon bars were delicious.

I also loved Julie's coconut bar.  All the goodies were so delicious!!!!
