i saw the rumours this morning. i was wondering about how we would go about setting up a new board elsewhere and what site would be best. i know a lot of the local boards already did this when the nest changed last time or to have a more private place for regulars. i'm sure i could do it, but i know nothing about sites...

yeah, when the format changed, my local went to activeboard - it works pretty well

We are all smart ladies, if necessary im sure we can figure something out so we can all move to a new board! I would miss you all far too much!

Rumors are flying on just about every board this morning.  We'll need to set up another board somewhere else.  I know this sounds crazy but I was thinking we'll need some sort of emergency email alert tree that allows us to connect to everyone and all land in one place....

...that reminds me...I need to get to adding new members to our Yahoo group...sorry girls...

I saw that too. I think it's more The Knot that is having big problems but they are trying to keep the Nest/Bump alive.

I agree, we should have a back-up plan, just in case. I would hate to not "see" you ladies daily.
