Day6 - sill no power - whoopie
Its nearly comical at this point. Last night DH drove by 4 utility work crews working a mere 1.5 miles from our house. This was at 7PM. When I drove by 15 minutes later they were all in town - done for the night. I thought these crews were 'working 'round the clock'?
anyway - don't move to Brookline - you'll never get your power back on.
Sigh
Re: Day6 - sill no power - whoopie
Im with you. Still nothing at my house in Hillsboro either. Jim saw some PSNH workers working near our house last night and went out and bought them a couple boxes of coffee at Dunkins to bribe them...hahahaha....it didn't work though!
I have been calling PSNH daily to get updates and they said that I should have it tomorrow.
I just called PSNH again and they say "unfortunately for you town we can't provide an update....there are just too many people without power in your town." Gee - thanks.
Ugh. Thanks for letting me vent everyone _ i'm sure its getting old to hear my - but I just need to get it out.
That is horrible...we just got our power back on yesterday! Hopefully, yours will be soon. It sucks...I never really thought about how much we rely on it...but my god...it was horrible...
Good Luck!
Oh, I am so sorry! I teach at Hollis Brookline Middle School and have talked to co=workers who live in both towns. A friend of mine from Brookline is still without power and is just as frustrated as you.
School is cancelled for the rest of the week, so apparently they are not close to getting everyone back on. Hopefully they will race to get the town restored before the storm on Friday, that should serve as incentive for them to work their a$$ off!!
Hang in there! I know it sucks!!!
