A friend just told me about this place today & I am in heaven. Looks amazing on their website.?
Is it worth the 2 hour drive for a day of shopping??
?I may just get one of their apartments and never leave...??

i like it, but even i wouldn't consider it worth a 2-hour drive. ?you've got all the same stores in SB, and the ones you don't, you could probably find at topanga. ?i'd only hit it up if you're already in the area for something else.
if you've ever been to the grove, you've pretty much been to the americana. ??
i agree, it is like the grove. ?and the apartments are fancy but it is very odd because the americana is like this fantasy land. ?then you walk out of it and you are on south brand boulevard (which looks depressing in comparison) and consists of car dealerships. ?
not worth the drive unless you are going to come meet leo and i and we can all eat lunch at cheesecake factory. ?
we may go see santa there. ?he has his own brick house and it is bigger than mine. ?ha!

We don't have most of the stores they have... Plus I have never been to the grove?

aren't you near paseo nuevo and state street? ?i could've sworn that a lot of the stores there are the same as americana's, or carry the same merchandise.
although like i said, ?if you're coming down anyway, it's worth a stop. ?i just don't think it's worth the drive, myself.
