i can't believe christmas is only one week away, and hannukah starts on sunday. i'm not ready! we don't even have our tree up yet! at this point i'd settle for just the tree itself, sans ornaments (except the grinch, of course!). i still have to get c's stocking stuff and her ornament, and we don't have anything for her parents yet--although we're done otherwise, as far as i know. but now i'm not sure about her sister. ugh. i think c is supposed to be going shopping with my sister this evening and i'm guessing we'll be doing some running around this weekend, as much as we hate to shop on a weekend so close to the holiday.
anyone else feeling a little frazzled?
Re: one week (or less)!
ugh...i think i'm sort of ready...gifts were easy this year since we picked names on A's side and my side is getting wedding pictures
I still need some things for andrea's stocking though. I'm also anxiously waiting on holiday cards I ordered to come in (i ran out of crafting materials and time) so i can send those out and be done w/ that project.
Then its just house cleaning and food shopping/prepping since we're hosting. good times!

I'm stressed. K came home last night with gifts for her grand-nieces (is that the term). I don't get it. She said she wasn't buying for all the little kids this year. So she says she's only doing it for the ones that are her god children and one other that we're close to. I then remind here that there are at least 7 other kids of that same generation. How to do you give to 3 and not the rest? Ugh. I'm super frustrated because we have to fit it all in our suitcase. I'm making her carry her gifts. ::cross arms on chest::
Oh and K ruined one of the gifts I'm getting her. I know she needs a new mp3 player so I already picked on out. Then last night she says "BJ's has a 2 gig mp3 player on sale. That's what I want for Chritmas." No fun. Now nothing will seem original. :-(
I have been a stress ball all week due to the amount that needed to be done. But after 3 days/nights of busting tail, I think I am in good shape.
The kids gifts and stockings are done. I have everything for L's stocking (we are only doing stockings.) I have mailed my dad's b-day gift (his b-day is Saturday.) I finished all 90 cards and got them mailed. Our parents' presents are done and mailed (we bought them digital frames and then I downloaded 250 pics of the boys on SD cards.) I made 6 books on My Publisher and got them mailed. Whew.
"All" I have left to do is wrap the boys' presents, help L put together the presents that need assembly (most of them!), wrap a few of L's things that don't fit in the stocking, made pasta salad for work party, and finish shopping and deliver the gifts for the family we "adopted" for the holidays. Oh, and I need to find a dress to wear to a wedding on New Years Day. Really..who gets married at 5:30 New Years Day? One of L's co-workers, I guess.
Wow - it didn't seem so bad before I wrote it out.
I think I need another week, please.
I haven't done any shopping for Julie. I still need to do that. I need to get my dads, sew two aprons for my mom and step mom! It will be a busy weekend but I'm confident that I can do it. I still have a butt load of christmas cards that need addressing. *sigh*
Another Week please?
