Where do you buy chocolate for the peppermint bark? will it just be in the cooking aisle in the grocery store with the pie fillings and nuts and stuff?
Is there an easy chocolate cookie recipe that just uses like coco powder or hershey's syrup or something and not more hunks of actual chocolate? I'm getting nervous with all this chocolate melting.
Re: More cookie questions
Yes. It's usually with the chocolate chips and such.
Relax! It's really easy. You can always just stick it in the microwave for a few minutes.
my read shelf:

a s/o Q - how do you all get your white chocolate to melt smooth and thin enough to pour? I gave up on peppermint bark last night - too muhc choc seizing, I was done (but make cran-almond bark before I had problems)
But my white choc always gives me problems - it melts SO thick and gets chuncky and seizes so easily... any tips?
