I am hoping you know the answer to this question. I am thinking ahead to next years Iron Bowl since it is at Auburn. Do you know when tickets are made available to the general public? DH's little brother could arrange to get us tickets with him in the student section as the time gets closer BUT I really want regular seats and I was also looking to get them for my own brother and sister in law and my parents since none of us have ever been to an Iron Bowl.
A friend of ours just found out last week that he got two season tickets for next year and he is letting us buy some of the games he isn't going to be able to make for face value so I am excited about that...but of course he is wanting to keep the Iron Bowl ones lol.
If you know or know some places that I can find out I'd really appreciate it...that way I can be on the lookout from the start. Thanks so much!
Re: Katie
personally? I would sign up for Tigers Unlimited and get the tickets as a season ticket holder. You could sell whatever tickets/games you can't go to. You can write off your TUF donation on your taxes and you wouldn't have to worry with it.
Otherwise with the Iron bowl, it is any man for himself b/c that game is the most sought after and the MOST expensive. That is one of the reasons I keep my tickets and have DH's as well.
That's just my suggestion if yall are able to do that financially.
Check it out on www.auburntigers.com and go to buy tickets or Tigers Unlimited.
Otherwise it's a crapshoot on stubhub.com or other avenues where people are going to charge out the ying yang!!!!
GL though!!!
Well we were looking at getting season tickets for the 2010 season from Tigers Unlimited....but not this next season due to several other trips and stuff we have planned.
Our friend has 2 season tickets and we have already arranged a couple of games from him selling them to us for those games. I guess we'll either chance stub hub or have Wes' little brother get us student tickets...even though I really hate sitting in the student section blah. But whatever it takes to get there
Thanks for the information!
The earlier you can get into TUF, the better. Plus its a tax write off.
You have to have a student ID to get into the student section - they are very strict on this.
Hope that helps and we'll see what happens as we get closer!!!
