8 months later, high speed internet!!!
For some reason, our little community has never been able to get high speed internet (other than satellite service, ugh)...until now! We've been in this home for 8 months and we've had dial-up the whole time. I'm a software engineer and a big tech geek, so this has been driving me nuts. But I finally have a DSL service-ready date in early January! Yay!!!!

Congrats! I'm a programmer and I would have been going crazy too.
Believe it or not my ILs have no options for high speed internet either. It blows my mind.
