Hey, here's my mom's danish recipe.
2 cans Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 8 oz. packages cream cheese or neufchatel cheese
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
Spray a 9X13 casserole pan with nonstick spray. Unroll and press contents of one can
of crescent rolls into bottom of casserole. Beat cream cheese, egg
yolk, vanilla and 1/2 cup sugar. Spread mixture over crescent dough in
pan. Open other can of crescent rolls and put on top of mixture.
Beat egg white and brush on top. Mix rest of sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon
and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 12 -
15 (can be stretched to serve 20).
