Found Dog: Need to find good home
Hi All- We had a large black lab mix (or flat-haired retriever as someone suggested to me) wander into our yard the other night- we took him in- I had him checked for a micro-chip and he does not have one. He's very sweet, about 75 lbs, all black, not neutered. He's good with our dog and cat and toddler. He's obedient and calm. Approx 4-5 years old.
We would love to keep him, but we don't have the space for a dog this size- he would make a great family pet. We are trying ways to find the original owner, but also need to find a new home for him in case his orphan status is not temporary.
I highly doubt the owner is on here- but I wanted to post this in case anyone would be interested in offering a good home to this dog. He's a real joy to have around, just needs some TLC.

We got our labs from Love of Labs Rescue (www.lolin.org). I would think they would probably be able to take him and find him a foster family. I would take him but we're going out of town soon. I hate to see labbies without homes!
