Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Double Boiler
Does anyone know where I can get one, at a good price.

Do you need to buy one, like as a gift, or just use one for a special recipe?
I only ask because you can make one using two saucepans stacked or a bowl set over a saucepan. I temper chcolate etc all the time and never use a real double boiler, it's just more kitchen clutter.
If you need to purchase one I would try Target, Walmart, stores like that :-)
i use the bowl method when i have to, although i think i actually have one in the set of pots i have boxed up in the basement...
if you need to buy one, i think walmart has them. i don't think target stocks them in-store, at least not here. bed bath and beyond would also have them. they tend to be more expensive, but if you have one of the 20% off coupons they send in the mail that would help.
