What is everyone up to?
I can't believe that Christmas is in 2 days. We have so much to do before Santa shows up on Thursday morning. I was able to put their easel together last night while L had them at the gym (thank goodness they finally like childcare at the gym! It gives her a chance to work out and it gives me a couple of hours to get things done around the house without 1001 interruptions.) We still need to put together the train table and the workbench - guess that will be after they go to bed (which is getting later and later and later...sigh)
I am so unmotivated to work. Thankfully, I am leaving an hour early today to go deliver presents to the family we are sponsoring for the holiday and I am only here a half day tomorrow (which is really only 3 hours!) Yea!
Re: It sure is slow around here!
Work has been crazy for me lately, so I haven't had a chance to post at all. I also can't believe that Christmas is in only 2 days, but luckily we're pretty much set. I just have to pick up the Christmas Eve ham (from Honeybaked!) tomorrow when I get home from my half-day. It will be a busy day or two, since we're starting off tomorrow at his Grandfather's (for dinner then hanging out for a few hours), then heading up to my parents to spend the night. But I'm very excited... this is one of my favorite times of year.
Also, if all goes as planned and we have a baby by this time next year... then this will probably be the last year that we head up to my parents for Christmas Eve night, so I'm going to enjoy it as much as possible. We'll see though.
I hope everyone else has a great Christmas!!

it is really slow, i was thinking that too. i've been really busy at work trying to get everything done before the end of today so i can check everything after the system runs. after that it'll be much more laid back here. i'm the only one in the office tomorrow, and on friday for a half day. i'm leaving in about 45 minutes for the dye test, which cuts into my time to process everything today if i don't want to stay over--which may happen whether i like it or not.
i can't believe christmas is so close, either. crazy! i still need to wrap everything i have, but my shopping is done. i'll probably be doing that tonight. i don't have a ton of gifts so it shouldn't be too bad, and i'm guess c will help me since we have some joint presents to wrap as well. she loves doing it and her gifts always look so nice with ribbons and all that. i just tape some paper on and if i'm feeling adventurous i'll slap on a bow.
I know. It always gets slow around this time. Everyone is running errands, traveling etc. I feel so boring. I just have a little baking to do and a last minute gift for S to wrap.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.
Its dead here but im still trucking away at work. Well posting and playing around on the internet anyways. I have a full day today and then tomorrow I get off at 1. For Christmas Eve we are having my Mom and Step Dad, my Step Brother, and my Grandma over to have Christmas Eve Dinner and to do presents since they wont get to see the kids on Christmas Day. Christmas morning will be just us and the kids and then around 10am we will drop them at their dads for the rest of Christmas break. Then T and I will go to Christmas dinner at my moms and thats it.
I finished wrapping, got my cards out, got some handmade presents finished and now all the is left to do is do a little grocery shopping tonight and clean the house from top to bottom. Ugh should be FESTIVE!
Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and has many great things to post next week!
