Just wondering if anyone who has children
planned the month of your childs birth? We are trying for our second, but I really would like to get pregnant in JAn or Feb that way we would have a oct, or nov baby. If not I would like to wait until spring to start TTC again. I don t want to be at 9 month in December. I know that sounds crazy but I just dont. ANyone else have reasoning to when you got pregnant?
Re: Just wondering if anyone who has children
I have a 6 - 8 mo window to work with as I can't give birth during Sept - end of Dec. as that is football season. I know that sounds stupid but DH's job is a huge part of that.
So we'd want to have a baby during Jan - Aug
but I'd just want a healthy pregnancy.
My only reason for not wanting a December birth would be bc it's Christmas...I love that my birthday is in August and not around any holidays. I am excited about my May due date since it won't be so hot, my sister had a baby in Aug and was absolutely miserable!
However, if and when it happens again, we may try to "schedule"...but who knows! I would want my kids to have birthdays somewhat apart during the year, but will be happy however they fall! (Even if it is Christmas Day in the future, lol)
We didn't really plan our pregnancy. We decided we wanted kids and then had trouble getting pg. It took 9 months so I wasn't picky about the month.
I never wanted to be full on pg during summer so I guess the big guy was working things out all along Ours is due in March.
We didn't plan ours either...we decided that we wanted to know sooner than later if we would have trouble TTC, so I stopped taking BC in May. Lo and behold, I was pg about 3 months after that!
That is the right attitude A girl here at work has been TTC for 5 years with no luck, and one of my best friends from high school has been trying for almost 3. I just feel so bad for those that have trouble, then it makes me so mad when people complain that they had a girl/boy and wanted the other sex. I know a girl that has 4 boys and desperately wanted a girl each time...she had a nervous breakdown after the last one bc she wanted a girl so badly! I'm like, you have 4 healthy babies....be thankful!!!
