Is Sasha a Husky?

How mush exercise do you giver her? How about mental exercise? We're unsure as to what mental exercise we can provide other than training. Can you give me some tips please? Also, does Sasha howl?

Re: autumn42

  • Hi,

Yes sasha is a siberian husky.   We walk her 2 times a day.   She gets a walk before we go to work and after dinner.   She loves her walks.  Do you have a husky???  The key to your sanity, and their happiness is for them to be tired.  A tired husky does not get into things and is not mischievous.

On the weekend we take her for long hikes or take her to a fenced in off-leashed dog park.  We also try to take her to doggie day care once in awhile if we start to see her getting restless.   A whole day of playing really wears her out!!

She doesn't howl or bark, but she talks.    She talks to us.  Its not a howl, but more of a "Rar awar  rar roo rar rooo ruff.   Kinda of thing.Big Smile

Kong has saved our lives...  If you dont have a Kong, get one.  Huskies love them.  Pack it full of bones, and natural balance sausages work great...  It will entertain them for quite awhile.  Get the dog kong, not the puppy.  the puppy one is too easy for them.  The red (dog) colored one not the green(puppy).

if you need more tips page me!!
